THE ONE STORY LITERARY HUB GETS AN OVERDUE MAKEOVER

The literary organization One Story, Inc., came to us for a comprehensive and desperately needed overhaul of their web presence. Placing One Story’s award-winning publications and affordable educational programming front and center, we gave them clear, easy to navigate site architecture, a fully functioning responsive website within a CMS, including 14 unique pages, creation of a Member Area, subscriber integration with WooCommerce, email templates, and much much more.

We were deeply inspired by One Story’s innovative idea of mailing one short story at a time to subscribers, and that they would only publish an author one time. To date One Story has published over 290 stories by 290 different writers in an unfussy 5x7 chapbook format.

Our design reflects One Story’s core values and mission, celebrating contemporary literary short stories by cultivating and mentoring the authors who write them. The new website offers a shared experience around short fiction that is thoughtful, open, earnest, and friendly.
