CELEBRATION
The Association on American Indian Affairs partnered with Lincoln Center to inaugurate the annual Native American Film and Media Celebration: Wind and Glacier Voices. We were so pleased to be asked to brand this event and produce all the needed collateral which included logo development, a press kit, schedule brochure, keepsake event program, gala invitation package and the design of the filmmaker's award.
The gala invitation package had a dual purpose—functioning as an invitation and also as a keepsake program sold during the film festival. The cover of the invitation carried the poem "Wind and Glacier Voices" and the construction included a pocket to hold the more ephemeral items such as the evening's program, menu and reply device.
All materials use were chosen for their environmental bona fides, no glue was used in construction, and the hand binding with leather and beads (press kit folder and invitation) illustrated respect of Native American craft.
